When do we process your personal data?
You share your personal data with us when you use our different products and services. We collect and process different categories of personal data for specific purposes, as listed below:

  • Advice

When we advise you in connection with one of our HR products or services, we receive a different information about you (e.g. your name, e-mail address, phone number, company, position, etc.) as well as a series of information concerning the case (e.g. information about your employees, other parties, details of the case etc.).

The legal ground for our processing activities is article 6 (1) (b) of the Regulation.

Depending on your request, we can receive sensitive data and/or information about criminal offences or other confidential matters.

The legal grounds for our processing activities in these cases is article 9 (2) (a) of the Regulation and article 8 (3) and (4) of the Danish Data Protection Act.

  • Webshop

When you use our website or webshop, we first and foremost collect information about user behavior through cookies. Read more under Our Cookies. When you make a purchase or have any inquiries in relation hereto, we need to process your order data and purchase history.

  • Knowledge and events

To receive our newsletter and register for our events, you must sign up by filling out our registration form. Here you must provide your contact information, including your name, your position and company, your phone number and e-mail address.

  • Recruitment

When you apply for a position at Works™, you send us your application where you present yourself and tells us what you are passionate about. Therefore, your application will contain a series of different personal information, which we will process – including your name, address, phone number, information about your educational background and previous positions, etc.

We only need to receive information about you that are relevant and necessary in relation to your application. This means that your application should not contain any sensitive information – such as information about your political or religious beliefs.

You are always welcome to send your application with encrypted e-mail or with a recommended letter. We will naturally process all applications in a confidential manner.

We will inform you prior to initiating any processing activities for other purposes than provided above.

Send an e-mail to hello@works.hr if you wish to rectify, change or delete your personal information that is registered in our system, but also if you no longer wish to receive e-mails or have any other questions about our data policy.

Our website contains links to other websites and to integrated websites. Works™ can for good reasons not take responsibility for the practices of these sites in relation to the collection and processing of personal data.

Yes, we also use cookies. It is just Google Analytics that we use to make our website, services and products even better.

You can always access the information which we have collected about you. You also have the rights to object against our collection and subsequent processing of your personal data. You also have the rights to have your personal information corrected, if necessary.

 

How long do we keep your personal information?

We store all your personal data, except sensitive information, until we no longer consider it necessary or otherwise required by law.


Who will process your personal information?

Your personal information will usually only be processed by Works™. However, in certain situations it is necessary to disclose your personal data to offer you our products and services, we can disclose your personal data when necessary to fulfill the agreement between us.

Therefore, we disclose your personal information to financial institutions, to our advisers, IUNO, to process your information for the agreed purposes and to our data processors (IT-suppliers, suppliers of cookie-services and business partners).

Works™ can transfer your information outside of the EU and EEA when using our IT-suppliers HubSpot or G Suite. To execute different IT solutions, HubSpot and G Suite can transfer certain personal information to be stored in the US. The transfer occurs in a secure manner or with the appropriate guarantees on the basis of the Standard Data Protection Clauses.

You have a series of specific rights when we process your personal data:

  • You have a right to access your personal data
  • You have the right to have incorrect personal data rectified
  • You have the right to have all unnecessarily stored personal data erased
  • You have the right to restrict processing activities if the accuracy of your information is contested, if the processing is unlawful, while verification of the lawfulness of processing is pending or if the personal data are required by you to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
  • You have the right to receive or to have your personal data transmitted to another data controller
  • You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data
